How to update your contact details online

Step 1:
Go to LIC India Website’s “Help us to serve you better” Link.
Step 2:
Update Your Contact Details web page will open. Enter Policyholder’s Full Name, Date of Birth, Mobile No., Email ID, No. of policies and Press “Submit”.
Step 3:
On Next Screen enter Policy No. and Press “Validate Policy Details”.
Step 4:
On next screen, if you see LIC Policy number and the request status “Successful” then Click the “Send Request” button and your request will be sent to LIC for validation for that particular policy.
Step 5:
After successful submission, on Next Screen “Request Number” and “Request Date” will be displayed.
The above policy contact details update request will go to the concerned LIC officials. As specified, you will receive a verification call from the LIC Official to validate the new contact details submitted by you. Once the details are verified, your contact information will then be updated in LIC India Policy database.
You will receive confirmation message (SMS) and email after the successful verification.
Things to take care
1. Please enter only your LIC policy (same DOB and Name), not of your family member.
2. Please note that you can only update upto 10 LIC policy numbers in one go.
3. If the Date of Birth and Policy number are correct then your request will be considered for further processing
