-:: Customer Portal ::-

If you have already registered in the portal, then you can login to your account to make the payment or else you need to register yourself first by click on “New User“.

Then you will directed to “Create Your LIC Account” page and enter the mandatory details such as policy number, premium amount (excluding taxes), date of birth, mobile number and your email address.

Once you have registered yourself on the LIC website, log-in to your account to make the payment.

Step 1: Enter your details to Log-in to your account.

Step 2: Once logged in, click on the “Online Payments”. It will take you to the premium payment portal.

Step 3: Select the policies for which you wish to make payments and click on “Check & Pay“.

Step 4: The portal will direct to the page to confirm the details such as mobile number, email id and                premium amount, then click on “Check & Pay” after confirmed the details.

Step 5: Choose the payment gateway to complete your transactions.

Step 1: First click on the link “Pay Premium Online”

Step 2: Then click on “Pay Direct (Without login)“.

Step 3: Select the “Renewal Premium/Revival” option for making a payment.

Step 4: Then the page will pop-up illustrating the premium payment process, click on “Proceed”

Step 5: Enter the details such as policy number, premium amount (excluding taxes) and so on.. While entering the details, ensure that you have mentioned it correctly and timely or else session will expire and you will have to start the process all over again.

Step 6: Enter the captcha code, and select “I Agree” and click “Submit”

Step 7: Check the details mentioned by you in the above step and click on “Submit”. If you have more than one LIC policy for which you want to make payments, then you can enter the policy number and premium amount (excluding taxes) to the list by scrolling down. Click on proceed once done.

Step 8: Then it will show you the no. of policies for which premium is being paid and total premium amount to be paid. Click on “Check & Pay” to make the payments.

Step 9: Then three options will be there to make payment:

·         via Internet banking, e-wallets, credit cards, debit cards, American Express Cards..

·         Standard Chartered Bank UPI, and

·         Axis Pay UPI.

Step 10: Choose the option with which you wish to make the payment.

# Points to note while making payments:

·         Provide correct and valid mobile number and email address.

·         The receipt will be mailed to your email address.

·         Online premium payment should be made by the policyholder himself. No third-party payment should be used.

·         If the premium amount is debited from your bank account but error page displayed, a receipt will be sent to your email address in three working days after receiving the confirmation from your bank.

·         If Re-trying: First check whether your bank account/card is already debited/charged with the amount of earlier transaction. If debited/charged, do not pay again. Wait for the insurer to mail you the receipt within three days.

·         The online portal will accept the cards issued by the domestic banks. International banks cards will not be accepted

How can I pay an LIC premium through Google Pay?

            When paying LIC premium from Google Pay there will be zero payment charges. This means you don’t need to pay any extra charges and instead of standing in a long queue your precious time will be saved to pay the installment of LIC premium online.

Step 1: Now you need to tap on + New Payment to pay your LIC premium. However, you can also find the Life Insurance Corporation services under the Business categories.

Step 2: After this, you can see various services in categories wise. Select the insurance to pay your LIC premium.

Step 3: At this step, you can see various insurance service provider. Select your insurance company, in this case, it is LIC.

Step 4: Now you need to link your LIC policy so that you can easily pay and track your payments.

Step 5: At this step, you need to fill your policy number, email id, account name so that you can link your LIC policy and pay the premium.

Step 6: After filling all relevant details you need to review the details tap on the link account.

Step 7: Once your LIC Policy is successfully linked with Google pay, you can see your policy details like premium amount, LIC premium due date, and bill number. Now you need to tap on pay bills to pay life insurance premium online.

Step 8: After completing the payment you can now see your LIC payment status as paid with the date of payment. However, it can take a maximum of 3 working days to reflect your payment in your LIC account.

You can download your LIC premium receipt or slip directly from your email address which you entered while linking your LIC policy to Google Pay. You can download your payment slip in the pdf form. Save it for future reference.
