LIC of India Announces the Financial Results 2019-2020. LIC’s audited figures for year ended March 2020 - New Business: Rs.1,77,977.07cr (25.17% growth). Total Premium Income: Rs.3,79,062.56cr (12.42% growth). Gross Total Income: Rs.6,15,882.94cr (9.83% growth). Pension and Group Superannuation Business: Rs. 1,26,696.21cr (39.46% growth). Total Policy Payouts: Rs 2,54,222.27cr (1.31% growth).

Finance Minister Budget Speech With Respect To LIC OF INDIA 01 FEB 2021 Government to bring LIC IPO this year       The povernment plans to sell part of its holding in Life Insurance Corporation of india through an initial public offering in the coming year. An amendment to the existing Act to facilitate the public offer, says FM Nirmala Sitharaman  Government Share is 5% in LIC of India.  Now, Government Plans to sell part of its Holding.  Which Means. LIC may hold a part of 5% and Invite Public Offer.  If someone misunderstood LIC is being Privatized, They have understood a bit and confusing others with their ignorance.  SBI Stocks we can buy, but it is a NATIONALISED BANK . LIC stocks also we can buy and it will continue to be a Government Insurance Company with 100% Government Guarantee to all the Public money. Thank you Finance Minister.
